Join The Heritage at Brentwood® Team

At The Heritage at Brentwood®, it’s not just a workplace; it’s a vibrant senior living community where professionals come together to make a meaningful impact on residents’ lives. Whether you’re a Nurse, Receptionist or part of the Leadership Team, working here offers more than just a career—it provides a sense of fulfillment and belonging.

A Culture of Support and Connection

One of the most defining aspects of The Heritage at Brentwood® is the supportive work culture. As Executive Director Jon Tagatz, who has been with the community for nearly 19 years, shares, “We build relationships. That’s the key. We really get to know people, work with them, and know them on a more personal basis.” At The Heritage, staff members are encouraged to form deep, meaningful connections with residents, which enhances both their work experiences and the lives of those they care for.

For Jon, this relationship-building extends beyond daily tasks. It’s about creating an environment where both staff members and residents feel supported and valued. “I believe The Heritage at Brentwood can really make a positive impact on residents from the day they move in,” he adds. “It’s a different lifestyle, more of a carefree type of living, but you have the peace of mind to know that you or your spouse will be taken care of if your needs change.”

A Rewarding Environment

The sense of joy and fulfillment that comes from working at The Heritage is echoed by Ryan Dominguez, the Lead Receptionist for over two years. “The interaction with the residents is excellent. I love the environment, so it’s kind of new every day,” says Ryan. “The community is beautiful, and everyone you interact with—everyone—is so kind. Everyone is always happy. I would highly recommend this place.”

Ryan’s love for his role is clear: “I work here at The Heritage at Brentwood, and I absolutely love it.” His words reflect the positive atmosphere and dynamic nature of the job, where no two days are the same, and every day brings new opportunities to connect with residents and staff members.

Building Trust and Relationships

For Registered Nurse Michael Mahaffey, who has been part of the team for seven and a half years, the relationships formed with residents and their families are a source of great pride. “I chose to work here because I really like taking care of my patients, forming good relationships with them and their families. It feels good to have the trust of them and their families,” Michael shares.

The level of trust that residents and their families place in the staff members is a testament to the compassionate, high-quality care provided at The Heritage. Michael adds, “I feel blessed to work at The Heritage at Brentwood,” highlighting the rewarding nature of being part of a community that truly cares about its residents.
